Whiting Hall is a historic building located on the beautiful campus of Knox College. Women's education was intended to be a component of Knox College from its origination in 1841. However, in 1856 construction took place on Tompkins Street between Cedar and Cherry streets and was aptly named the Female Seminary which would later be known as historic Whiting Hall. The artistic tribute to the alma mater of UrbanArtChicago founder and visionary, Andrew Christen, captures his unique but abstract look at a place that he holds near and dear to his heart. This campus was responsible for harnessing the creative juices that flow in all of his work! $5 dollars of every purchase will go towards saving the rainforests around the world with the RainforestTrust, www.rainforesttrust.org/.
